Stuart Smith death: Murder charge over party stabbing

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man at a party in Greater Manchester.

Stuart Smith, 23, was found by police at about 03:00 BST on Monday in Rutland Road, Tyldesley. He died later in hospital.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from a stab wound to the chest.

Daniel Walker, 23, of Devon Road, Tyldesley, has been charged with murder and possessing an offensive weapon. He is due before Wigan magistrates later.
