Two teenagers have been charged after a pensioner was attacked as he got off a bus in Bolton.
The 71-year-old was on the 571 service in Great Lever, Bolton, on 10 February when it was pelted with glass bottles and had one of its windows smashed.
He was then headbutted, kicked and punched in the face as he left the bus.
Two 18-year-old men, of no fixed address, have been charged with causing actual bodily harm and one of them has also been charged with criminal damage.
They are due to appear before Bolton Magistrates' Court later.
The incident was one in a series of similar attacks that have caused bus operator Maytree Travel to threaten to stop running services in the area.
