Helen Green charged with burns murder of Robert McAlees

A woman has appeared in court charged with murder after a man died of severe burns in Greater Manchester.

Police found the man at a house in Carlingford Close, Adswood, Stockport, at 11:05 GMT on Friday.

Robert McAlees, 41, suffered 90% burns and was taken to a specialist unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. He died later from his injuries.

Helen Green, 43, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 7 February.
