Man charged over Jason Kenealy crash death in Bolton

A man has been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Bolton.

Jason Kenealy, 32, from Darwen, Lancashire, was a passenger in a Vauxhall Corsa which was in a collision with a Toyota Corolla Verso on Chorley Old Road in Smithills on 25 June.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with causing death by careless driving while impaired through drink or drugs.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said the man would appear at Bolton Magistrates Court on 3 February.
