Blackpool's new wedding chapel opens

Help

A new wedding chapel has opened on Blackpool promenade, offering couples the chance to get married "almost at sea".

Festival House on the People's Promenade also offers "unique views of Blackpool Tower", superintendent registrar David Hill said.

The £3m venue is part of the council's £250m revamp of the resort.

Simon Garrick and Kelly Goudie, from the Fylde, are due to be the first couple to marry at the chapel, on 12 January.
