Second brother charged over Old Trafford florist robbery

A second man has been charged in connection with an alleged raid on a florists in Greater Manchester, during which his brother was fatally stabbed.

Joseph Junior Mullings, 24, of Anfield, Liverpool, was charged with robbery. He was remanded in custody by Trafford magistrates earlier.

His brother Gary, 30, was stabbed during an incident in Shrewsbury Street, Old Trafford, on 26 July.

Their brother Kyle, 18, of no fixed abode, is also charged with robbery.

Shopkeeper Cecil Coley, 72, who was taken to hospital after the incident, was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been released on bail until 9 September.

Joseph Mullings is next due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester on 13 October.
