Star Trek fan from Salford gets dream job as trekologist
A Salford Star Trek fan has landed his dream job as a trekologist for a TV channel.
Raules Davies has been employed by CBS Action to present facts about the science fiction series ahead of screenings of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Mr Davies told the BBC's Abbie Jones that "the word elated doesn't really quite cover it".
He was spotted by the channel while attending a fan convention in his Star Trek uniform.
Producer Andy Kidger said Mr Davies was "charismatic" and had an "encyclopaedic knowledge" of the show.
