The mother of a man whose badly burned body was found under a railway archway in north London has accused the Met of covering up his death because he was a police informant.
Kester David, 53, was a bus driver whose burnt body was found behind a building in Broomfield Lane, Palmers Green, in 2010.
Scotland Yard said they are still investigating his death, but a leaked report by the Independent Police Complaints Commission has called for the Commissioner, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe to apologise for the way the force handled the original murder investigation.
BBC London's Alex Bushill spoke to Mr David's mother, who wished to remain anonymous.
