Boy, 16, stabbed in Plaistow Park, Newham

A 16-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in an east London park.

Police were called to reports of an altercation in Plaistow Park, Balaam Street, Newham, at about 15:00 BST on Saturday.

The teenage boy was found with a number of stab wounds and taken to an east London hospital.

Police are seeking to trace two men believed to have been involved with the incident. No arrests have been made.

The first person police want to identify is described as a black man aged about 16 to 18 years old, about 5ft 8in (1.73m) tall, who was wearing a white T-shirt and grey jogging bottoms.

The second person is described as a black male who was wearing a white T-shirt.
