Man arrested after police stand-off in Harrow

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after police were involved in a stand-off with a man armed with a knife in north-west London.

Met Police officers said they were called at about 15:45 BST to reports of a "disturbance" at an address in Headstone Lane, Harrow.

The force said a man in his 40s was arrested at about 21:30.

He was taken to a police station where he remains in custody, police said.

A second man was treated by London Ambulance Service for minor injuries.
