The Royal Academy's summer exhibition has always featured emerging talent alongside big names in contemporary art.

This year art lovers are being told to expect even more from artists whose work has never been on display before. The show opens on 9 June.

Brenda Emmanus speaks to Charles Saumares, chief executive of the Royal Academy of Arts, Cornelia Parker, artist and Royal Academician, and designer Thomas Heatherwick.
