Antonio James Tammaso Antonio Tommaso suffered multiple stab wounds

A man has been charged with murder and arson over the death of a 49-year-old man whose body was found in a flat in north London.

Daniel Asubo, 30, of Barnet was also charged with reckless endangerment to life and perverting the course of justice.

The body of Antonio Tommaso was found by firefighters in Potters Road, New Barnet, north London, on 15 May.

Mr Asubo will appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on 26 May.

A 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further investigation and is due back on a date in late June, said police.
