A 17-year-old boy has been found guilty of murder after fatally stabbing a teenager in south London.

Fico Dougan, 17, was found with a stab wound to the heart in a house in Ockley Road, Croydon, on 25 September 2013.

He was taken to a south London hospital where he died soon after.

Uriah Gardner, of St. Augustines Avenue, Croydon, was convicted at the Old Bailey and will be sentenced on 24 June.

Fico's mother, Sandra Opoku, said: "Trying to deal with the shock of losing our wonderful, beautiful son has been heartbreaking and very distressful for all of us."
