Jamil Palmer stabbing: Police make new arrests
Detectives investigating the killing of a teenager who was stabbed in a west London park have made more arrests.
Jamil Palmer, who was 18 years old, was found slumped in the road near Evans Grove in Feltham, Hounslow, following the "horrific attack" last Tuesday.
A a 15-year-old boy, 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder, the Met Police said.
An 18-year-old man and boy of 16 were previously arrested.
They have been bailed until June pending further inquires.
There were claims that Jamil, from Hampton, south-west London, might have been chased through parkland before being stabbed.
Det Ch Insp Noel McHugh said: "It is clear that there is a misguided loyalty where some people are not speaking to the police, protecting those involved.
"I would ask those who are reluctant to come forward to do so, so Jamil and his family can get the justice they deserve.
"I would also like to reiterate my reassurance to anyone who has witnessed this horrific attack that my officers are here to protect you and will treat any information you have with the utmost sensitivity and discretion."
