An 18-year-old man has become the second man charged with the murder of two men who were found fatally stabbed in a car.

Casey Jones from east London will appear before Thames magistrates on Friday.

Devonte Campbell, 19, also of east London, has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 28 May.

The men, Aaron Carriere, 21, and Josiah Manful, 20, were found dead in Montague Road, Leytonstone, on 1 March.

Post-mortem examinations found Mr Carriere died after being stabbed in the neck while Mr Manful died from stab wounds to the chest, shock and haemorrhaging.

In total, 18 people have been arrested in connection with the murders.
