London healthcare students try 'age simulation suit'

26 March 2014 Last updated at 21:27 GMT

Healthcare students at a London university are being given a new insight in an aim to make them better at their future jobs.

They have been using what is called an "age simulation suit" - which simulates many of the conditions older people have to contend with every day.

BBC London's Nick Beake tried on the suit and spoke to London South Bank University's Sheelagh Mealing, student Jalaruban Lukas and attendees at an Age Concern drop-in centre in Kingston, south-west London.
