River Thames body identified as missing Putney man

A body found in the River Thames earlier this week has been formally identified as that of a 28-year-old man from south-west London who was reported missing in February.

Marc Hutton from Putney was reported missing on 28 February.

Mr Hutton's body was found in the river near Lots Road in Chelsea on Tuesday.

The Metropolitan Police are treating his death as unexplained. An inquest date is yet to be confirmed, said a spokesman.
