Construction worker dies in Crossrail tunnel in central London

An inquiry has been launched after a construction worker on the Crossrail project died.

The 43-year-old was spraying concrete 32ft (10m) down in a tunnel in Holborn, central London, when he was killed in the early hours.

The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
