Arrest after man, 71, found dead in Bromley

A 71-year-old man has been found dead at a home in south-east London.

The Met said officers were called to an address in Cambridge Road, Bromley, at 10:40 GMT on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have been told however formal identification has not yet taken place. A post-mortem test date has not yet been scheduled.

A 30-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder and is being held at a south London police station.
