Pregnant woman's fatal fall suspicious, say police

The death of a pregnant woman believed to have fallen from the third floor of a building in west London is being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The woman was pronounced dead after being found by London Ambulance Service at about 03:00 GMT on Sunday in Harrow Road, North Kensington.

Police believe the 30-year-old woman fell from Orpheus House and that passersby may have seen something.

A man was arrested at the scene.

Det Insp Colette Smyth said: "Even in the early hours of Sunday, Harrow Road was busy with traffic and people walking around.

"I am specifically appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the woman fall from Orpheus House or anyone who was in the area and witnessed this tragic incident to contact the police."
