A man has been charged with trespass after allegedly scaling a fence to break into Buckingham Palace.

Victor Miller, 37, from east London, was arrested on 2 September in part of the palace grounds usually open to the public during the day.

No members of the Royal Family were present at the time.

Mr Miller will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 4 March. A second man arrested outside the palace has been released without charge.
