Man held over knifepoint robbery in Surbiton

A man has been arrested after a woman was robbed at knifepoint while using a cash machine in south-west London.

The robbery took place as the woman was using a cash machine at the Ace of Spades filling station in Hook Rise North, Surbiton, on 15 January.

A man threatened her with a knife before robbing her. The 38-year-old victim was not injured, police said.

Officers arrested a 24-year-old man in Chessington on Saturday. He remains in police custody.
