Avalon nightclub shooting: Police hunt for two men

Two men are being hunted by police in connection with the shooting dead of a man in a nightclub in London's West End on Boxing Day.

Hassan Omer, 31 from Poplar in east London, was shot at a private function at Avalon club on 26 December.

A post-mortem examination found he died from multiple gun shot wounds.

Danny Walker, 32, and Gavin Allen, 30, are wanted by police. The Met said it was possible that Mr Allen may have travelled abroad.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts are being urged to contact police.

The shooting at the club on Shaftesbury Avenue happened in the early hours.

Two men - a 31-year-old and a 34-year-old - arrested on suspicion of murder have been bailed to a date in February.

A 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday remains in custody at an east London police station.
