An 18-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenager in north London.

Kreshnik Etemi, 18, of Muswell Hill, north London, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.

He is accused of killing Joshua Folkes, 17, who was stabbed to death outside a friend's home in Palmers Green, in the early hours of Tuesday.

Earlier on Saturday, police arrested a 17-year-old boy in the Clerkenwell area, on suspicion of murder.
