Man charged with theft of Poppy Appeal box from garage

A man has been charged with the theft of a Poppy Day Appeal tin from a garage in south-west London.

Leon Cowley, 31, of Chaucer Avenue in Richmond, will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on 4 November in relation to the theft at Blackhorse Garage in Richmond last Sunday.

A woman has also been charged with stealing from the same premises.

Charlene Molloy, 28, of Chilton Road in Richmond has been charged with theft unrelated to the collection box.

She will appear at the same court on 20 November.
