A man and woman have been charged with murder after the body of a Lithuanian man was found in an east London stream.

The body of carpenter Evaldas Svolkinas, 34, of Dorking Rise, Romford, was discovered in the town's Carter's Brook last December.

A post-mortem examination found he died of head injuries.

Andrej Malinovskij, 42, and Julija Malinovskaja, 27, both of Canning Town, east London, are due to appear before Redbridge magistrates on Monday.
