Taxi driver killed in crash with bus and car

A cab driver was killed and two people were injured in a collision involving a minicab, a bus and another car in north London.

The man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene in Green Lanes, Winchmore Hill, at 03:30 BST.

Police said a BMW was in collision with a Ford Galaxy minicab and a bus at the junction with Aldermans Hill.

The driver of the BMW remains in hospital. He was arrested and bailed. A taxi passenger was also injured.

A Met Police spokesman said the taxi passenger, a man in his 40s, was taken to a north London hospital for treatment and later discharged.

The BMW driver's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
