A 21-year-old man has become the fourth suspect arrested over the death of a teenager in east London.

The man was detained on suspicion of killing 16-year-old Ajmol Alom, who was stabbed to death on 13 August.

Ajmol, who has been described as a star pupil, was fatally wounded in the thigh in Spey Street, Poplar.

Aminur Nazir Khan, 19, has been charged with Ajmol's murder and two people have been bailed to return on a date in September.

A post-mortem examination showed the stab wound to Ajmol's leg was fatal.
