Woolwich stabbing: Three arrested after man attacked
Three men have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was stabbed in Woolwich, south-east London.
Police said it happened just a "few streets away" from the scene of Wednesday's attack on Drummer Lee Rigby, but it is not being linked to the killing.
A spokesman said the man was stabbed in the chest and arm on Wellington Street just before 16:00 BST on Sunday.
Three men, aged 19, 26 and 28, are being held in custody.
The injured man was taken to King's College Hospital, in Denmark Hill, south London, and later discharged.
Drummer Rigby, who was with the 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was run over and then killed last Wednesday.
