Pedestrian lost arm after uninsured driver accident

A man who was critically injured when he was run over by an uninsured driver has spoken for the first time about his ordeal.

Sylvester Opoku lost his arm and is still in hospital five months on.

The Motor Insurer's Bureau says there are as many as 250,000 cars being driven in London without insurance.

BBC London's Alice Bhandhukravi spoke to Mr Opoku, Ashton West from the Motor Insurers' Bureau and Terry Connolly from The Abingdon pub.
