A woman has admitted impersonating murdered former oil executive Carole Waugh in order to hire a car.
Julie Witham, 47, of Enfield, north London, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to conspiracy to defraud.
She admitted plotting to hire a car using a credit card in Miss Waugh's name and will be sentenced on 26 April.
Miss Waugh, 50, disappeared from her home in Marylebone early last year and her body was found in a garage in south-west London last August.
Rakesh Bhayani, 40, of Wembley, north-west London, and Nicholas Kutner, 48, of no fixed address, who are charged with murdering Miss Waugh, were remanded in custody at the hearing on Monday.
Six others accused of conspiracy to defraud were remanded on bail until the next hearing.
Miss Waugh, originally from Durham, was reported missing by her family on 7 May last year and had not been seen since mid-April.
Her body was found in a car in a lock-up garage in New Malden. She had suffered a single-stab wound.
