Man pleads not guilty to schoolgirl's rape in Edmonton

An 18-year-old man has denied raping an 11-year-old girl as she walked home from school in north London.

Opemipo Jaji, pleaded not guilty to attacking the girl in November 2012 when he appeared by videolink at the Old Bailey.

Mr Jaji, of Osward Place, Edmonton, will face a trial on 10 April.

The girl was dragged into Jubilee Park in Lower Edmonton and attacked after getting off a school bus on the afternoon of 23 November.
