Man charged in Millwall football club racist abuse probe
The alleged incident happened at The Den last November
A man has been charged in connection with television footage allegedly showing Millwall fans racially abusing a Leeds United player.
Gerrard Scanlon, 53, from Enfield, north London, is accused of a racially aggravated public order offence.
It comes after a Sky Sports News report on racism in football showed the Senegal international El Hadji Diouf being abused.
The incident is said to have happened at The Den on 18 November.
Mr Scanlon is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He has been released on bail and will appear before Bromley magistrates on 27 February.
