Teacher denies schoolgirl assault in Southwark

A teacher has denied assaulting a 10-year-old girl at a school in south London.

Rally Ikiebe, 49, appeared before Camberwell Green magistrates accused of committing actual bodily harm.

The charge relates to injuries allegedly inflicted on a pupil at a school in Southwark on 17 January.

Ikiebe, of Wrottesley Road, Willesden, north London, denies the charge and the nature of the girl's wounds has not been revealed.

Ikiebe is due to return to the same court for a committal hearing on 25 March.
