Man charged after knife attack on family at their home

A man has been charged in connection with a knife attack on a family in their home.

A woman and her parents were attacked in Beckenham, south-east London, on Thursday.

The 58-year-old father was stabbed in the stomach and arm. The woman, 29, suffered neck and hand injuries while her mother, 54, had hand wounds.

Luke Nicholson, 28, of Sevenoaks, Kent, has been charged with causing GBH with intent and ABH.

He has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The father remains in intensive care but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
