Knifeman attacks woman and parents in Beckenham home

A woman and her parents are recovering after a knife attack at their south London home.

The woman's 58-year-old father was stabbed in the stomach and arm during the attack in Ernest Grove, Beckenham, on Thursday night.

He is in intensive care with non-life threatening injuries. The woman, 29, suffered neck and hand injuries while her mother, 54, had hand wounds.

A man, 28, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and causing GBH.

Police said the man, who is known to the family, was found by officers in Lloyds Way, Beckenham, and treated for a head injury. He is now in custody in south London.
