London is prepared if snow falls, say transport chiefs

Londoners are being warned of sub-zero temperatures and the possibility of snow by the end of the weekend.

Transport bosses are on alert as they try to avoid a repeat of the gridlock seen on the roads, rail and airports the last time London froze, in 2009.

BBC London's Sarah Harris talks to Kevin Wincell at London City Airport, Alison Nolan at South Eastern Trains, Councillor Ian Corbett at Newham Council and pensioner Jeane Smith.
