How the Tube opened up London's countryside

London got its first underground railway 150 years ago on Wednesday and the Metropolitan Railway became a true gateway to the countryside by transforming the capital and the way people lived.

BBC London's Kurt Barling talks to author Stephen Games and historian Pat Clarke in Pinner, north-west London, about the railway's impact and the birth of the suburbs.
