Streatham flat death: Woman's boyfriend arrested

The boyfriend of a woman who was found beaten to death in a south London flat has been arrested.

The body of Anastasia Voykina, 23, a Russian national, was discovered at the property in James Boswell Close, Streatham, on Monday.

Tests showed she died from multiple fractures to the face, head and neck caused by being beaten.

Felipe Lopes, 27, was arrested in south London in the early hours and is being quizzed by murder detectives.

Police said Ms Voykina last spoke to her family on 30 December and it is believed to be the last known contact with her.
