A man has been charged with the murder of a mother-of-two from south London.

Police said a body found in a parked car in Mayfield Crescent in Thornton Heath on Saturday was believed to be that of Janelle Duncan-Bailey from Pawsons Road, Croydon.

The 25-year-old was reported missing on Wednesday.

Jerome McDonald, 30, of Fairlands Avenue, Croydon, has been charged with her murder. He is due at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on Monday.
