London Met foreign students miss Christmas over visa 'delays'

Help

Hundreds of foreign students claim they are stranded in London for Christmas, after they surrendered their passports to the UK Border Agency.

They are all connected to the London Metropolitan University which was stopped from teaching international students earlier this year.

Nick Refuerzo is one of the students who will spend Christmas without his family.

The UKBA said it sent out passports to anybody who applied for a visa before 20 December.
