'Thousands fewer officers in Met' since 2010
New figures obtained by an MP suggest there are 4,000 fewer Metropolitan Police officers now than there were two years ago.
Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas tells BBC London's political editor Tim Donovan he wants to know why mayor Boris Johnson has allowed so many police and Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) to be axed.
City Hall has said backroom staff have been cut but performance is being maintained.
