Eight arrested over King's Cross football violence

Eight men have been arrested in connection with football-related violence in central London.

Four of them were arrested in Sussex while four were arrested in south London on Saturday, the Metropolitan Police (Met) said.

Violent disorder broke out between Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace fans in King's Cross on 10 November after separate matches.

The men are being questioned at a south London police station.

A Met spokesman said the force had worked closely with officers from Kent, Surrey and Sussex Police to make the arrests.
