Mayor's Olympic affordable housing pledge 'falls short'

The Mayor of London's policy is that over a third of flats and houses built on the Olympic Park after 2012 will be affordable.

But it has emerged the first housing development there will fall short of that target.

Boris Johnson's critics, including the Liberal Democrat's Caroline Pidgeon, say it is a broken promise but he insists he is on track to deliver homes Londoners can afford.
