CCTV shows deadly confrontation after Jessie J gig

CCTV footage showing Ashley Charles confronting 37-year-old Phillip Sherriff before attacking him with a bottle and killing him has been released by Met police.

Charles, 26, pictured on the left in the footage, was at the bar at Pulse nightclub, in south London, when he grabbed a bottle from Mr Sherriff, a phone executive, and slashed his neck.

The singer Jessie J had performed at the event earlier in the evening.

Graphic designer Charles, of Nevanthon Road, Leicester, was given a life sentence at the Old Bailey and told he will serve a minimum of 14 years.
