Man charged with 2005 Gants Hill murder of Robert Darby

Victim Robert Darby Robert Darby was found with stab injuries in Gants Hill in August 2005.

A man has been charged with murdering a man in east London seven years ago.

Robert Darby, 42, was found with stab injuries at an address in Perth Road, Gants Hill, Ilford, in August 2005.

Mr Darby died at the Royal London Hospital the day after he was stabbed, the Metropolitan Police said.

Jason Moore, 42, of no fixed abode, was charged with his murder on Saturday. He is due to appear at Redbridge Magistrates' Court on Monday.
