Electric car recharging points 'an issue'
A lack of recharging points, particularly on motorways, has been cited as one of the reasons for relatively slow sales of electric cars.
The London mayor originally wanted 25,000 recharging points in the city, which was scaled back to 1,300 due to a lack of funds.
There are currently 790 recharging points in London.
The BBC's Tom Edwards speaks to electric car driver Richard Todd, Dale Vince from Ecotricity, and Dr Louise Bunce from the London Metropolitan University.
