London tenants 'trapped in rising rental cycle'


New figures suggest that within months people renting in London could be paying double what people living outside the capital pay.

Over the past year rents in London have risen at more than four times the rate of increase elsewhere and the gap is now at an all-time high.

BBC London's Robin Punt talks to tenant Sarah Walker, Molly Chesney of HomeLet, tenant George Lewis and Prof Christine Whitehead of the London School of Economics.
