Burger King stabbing: Man killed in Wood Green identified

A 23-year-old man who was stabbed to death in a Burger King restaurant at a north London shopping centre has been identified.

Albanian national Pelivan Zekaj, of Monksfield, north London, was stabbed at the fast food outlet in The Mall in Wood Green on Thursday night.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Scotland Yard said.

A post-mortem examination held at Tottenham mortuary gave cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.

Detectives have said no arrests have been made.

The victim's family has been informed as police continue to appeal for witnesses.
