Koo Stark Koo Stark was declared bankrupt last year, over an unpaid hotel bill

Actress Koo Stark is to appear in court in connection with an alleged theft.

The 56-year-old, who dated Prince Andrew in the 1980s, has been summonsed to appear under her real name of Kathleen Stark, next Friday.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said Ms Stark, also a photographer and artist, has not been charged at this stage.

Miss Stark, made bankrupt last year, has been summonsed over claims she stole from a property in Notting Hill, west London, in July.

She is scheduled to appear at Hammersmith Magistrates' Court.

In February 2011, she was given a bankruptcy order at the High Court over an unpaid hotel bill of £38,680.

The bankruptcy petition was brought by the Jumeirah hotel group over her stay at the five-star Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in London's Knightsbridge area in 2008.
